HOW TO FIND PROOF OF GOD

FIRST, RIDDLE ME THIS: you're either an atheist or an agnostic. Right? Now if you're an atheist, I'd like you to honestly answer this question: do you know EVERYTHING there is to know? Everything? If you're being honest and you said no, then you have to admit that maybe God does exists, but you just don't know the proof. So it's really better for you to be an agnostic, not an atheist. Right? Now, an agnostic is a person who doesn't know if God does or doesn't exist. The agnostic is a doubter. Does this sound like you? Okay. Now let me ask you one last question: what kind of doubter are you? (honest or dishonest). Let me explain:

  • An honest doubter is a person that doesn't know, but wants to know.
  • A dishonest doubter is a person that doesn't know, and doesn't want to know.
The dishonest doubter can't find God for the same reason a thief can't find a policeman!

But if you're an honest doubter, you can find God. Jesus, speaking to honest doubters, told them how (John 7:16-17):

[7 16] Jesus answered them and said: My doctrine is not mine, but His that sent me. [7 17] If any man will do the will of Him, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

FIND OUT GOD'S WILL

LEO TOLSTOYwas one of the greatest writers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. His book "War and Peace" is widely acknowledged as one of the greatest novels of all time.

What you may not know is that he was disappointed with organized religion and with how it twisted God's message. So, he took the Bible and did his own translation: "The Gospel in Brief." The "Gospel In Brief" summarizes the teachings of Jesus Christ with minimal religious and political overtones. All miracles have been taken out, as well as any mention of Jesus fulfilling the prophecies of the Old Testament. What you have are the teachings of Jesus. Plain and simple.

Read it and decide for yourself. Tolstoy took a scholarly approach to writing the Gospel in Brief, and referenced his translations back to the Bible. We have taken his references and linked them to a site with the Latin and English versions of the Bible.
